Definition of the terms used at eBiostatistics.com:

  • Collaborators: are the principle investigator, the co-investigators and the statistician(s) involved in your study.
  • My account: contains all your personal information entered when you applied for an eBiostatistics account.
  • My workspace: this page lists all the contents were you have been involved in. These can be in the form of working group pages, attachments, comments and many more.
  • New Analysis: this webform will assist you with requesting the statistical analysis of an existing study design. There you will be asked key questions to perform the right tests for the right data. This webform will also allow you to upload your database as well as the codebook describing the variables (mandatory).
  • New Study Design: this webform allows you to request help with designing your new study. There you will be asked key questions to help us prepare the right design for the right study.
  • Principle investigator: is the lead clinician, scientist, research nurse, etc. for a particular well-defined project.
  • Webform: is simply an online electronic application were you can request collaboration, statistical analysis etc. as well as contact us or evaluate our service.
  • Working group ID: Each working group has an ID assigned to it. This is for easy access. A list of the working group links is situated on the left side bar of this platform. The working group ID consists of machine readable characters with the name of the principle investigator followed by the date of the creation of the study (name yyyy mm dd).
  • Working group space: this is the page where access is only permitted to your collaborators.
